I don't even know what to say about this film. It's southern roots story line, and 70's style of film makes it stand out from the crowd. It Almost felt like a Pulp Fiction-esque tale similar to that of stories told by Quentin Tarantino.
Very subtlety it grabs your attention from the very beginning and drags you through the lives of two very different characters. The clash between the two personalities, and the music sequences with Samuel L. Jackson make this movie a favorite in my books. Its one of the few movies I've seen that get an applause even after the fanboy filled Friday opening.
